Causes for American Involvement in World War II

After WWI, America went in isolation. Back then, the Americans was trying to climb out of a deep depression and wanted to stay concentrating on that situation. America was overwhelming in a neutral stance and isolationism, America seen the events occurring in Asia and Europe, causing growing strain throughout the areas. The following actions happened:

* A move toward dictatorship in Japan.

* The start of the war in China.

* In Germany, Italy, Spain, and the USSR formed a government in the form of Dictatorship.

* Mussolini had taken over of Ethiopia.

* Rebellion in Spain.

* Germany enduring growth as well as taking the Rhineland.

* Allies from World War I had large debts, in which the allies were notable to pay the debts off.

In 1935-37 America had passed the Neutrality Acts. These acts had formed a prohibition on everything combat item deliveries. During this time, Americans could not travel on aggressive ships, and no participant in the war was granted any loans in the United States.

The following actions started the war in Europe:

* Austria and the Sudetenland was taken by Germany.

* England and France agreed to the Munich Pact to allow Hitler to keep the Sudetenland as long as no additional development arose.

* The Rome-Berlin Axis military alliance was created by Hitler and Mussolini created to last 10 years.

* Germany, Italy and Japan became an alliance.
