Introduction

Teamwork is nowadays considered as key to success in many areas. It is also considered as very necessary in the area of healthcare. The distribution of tasks and duties among medical, nursing and others health practitioners means that no one can individually give an absolute and efficient set of health care. It’s the group effort that counts in the last. A little formal training regarding some specific skills is required, especially those discussing teamwork that could also be learned right on the job. In the healthcare organizations patient final state and outcome is totally dependent on professionals and staff caring them and it relies on efficient interdisciplinary teamwork, so there always remains a need for better professionals in teamwork (Effective healthcare teams require effective team members, by Sandra G Leggat).

In today’s age of development the teamwork has gained a vital popularity. When employees function as a part of unit and act as a part of team then task and job automatically becomes easier and much more efficient. Especially if we apply these things in health care organizations then overall care is enhanced.

* When an emphasis is given on team work in health care organizations then every employee of the organization works united to fulfill the needs of patients, they valued team work and then the improved and healthy patients outcomes become their common goals.

Health care is related to every care discipline that is an essential patient care. If a patient needs respiratory care then many members work united like respiratory therapists, speech therapists, physical therapists etc. Each care provided to a specific patient is art of a team. A desired good and healthy condition of patient lies simply in the coordinated work of supervisors, their effective communication and brilliant teamwork.
