An activity that I would like to spend less time doing is finding a quicker route home. It is a constant struggle each day trying to get home less than forty-five minutes. I take the same route to work and it only takes about twenty minutes. This is very frustrating and I want to analyze this process to find a quicker solution to go to work. I usually am dressed thirty minutes prior to getting to work but it seems like something always comes up so I am going to design a flowchart on a new strategy on how to get to work on a timely fashion.
The factors that may hinder this process is not ironing or last minute cleaning of the house before I leave. This will leave me with only twenty minutes to get to work so any other distraction definitely leads me to be late for work. This is a process that over time I hope I can perfect and hopefully it will lead me to be on time and in the long run this will lead to me not having to make up time at the end of the week.
The Metric that I want to measure is the minutes that it takes me to get to work and how can I shorten them by ironing before I go to work and completing all the necessary cleaning. This will hopefully cut the minutes off of my trip to work so that I can be at work on time.
