Slaughterhouse safety is a topic that is yet to be defined. There are animals being treated in a non humane manner and nothing is being done to protect them. In slaughter homes, there is no security on premises. Due to this, the workers can shock, shoot, and skin animals, torturing them over and over. Due to the miss treatment of the animal, the consumers are faced with being sold unhealthy meat products. These products may cause sickness to humans, even death/. Making sure that the meats sold are not contaminated will save lives.

Safety is needed in many areas from human, to non-human. The animals that are living in these slaughterhouses deserve to be monitored to ensure that they are receiving proper care. Cameras will prevent theses problem because the workers who are making these animals suffer will think twice before they do it. As long as they think no one is paying attention, animals. “Workers stomped on chickens, kicked them, and violently slammed them against floors and walls.” This comes from one PETA investigator who went undercover to videotape what goes on inside the slaughterhouses when no one is watching. In one of the major cattle slaughterhouses in United States, investigators also captured workers literally rip the tracheas out of cows that were still conscious. What a terrible way to have to die. Even though these are animals they still have feelings. They deserve to be treated fairly until their slaughter day. This would have possibly not happen if the workers knew of cameras, or some form of security.

Animal cruelty inside slaughterhouses happens continuously due to the lack of security. There are security cameras almost everywhere. Why not in the slaughterhouses? Is it because of money? Do they not want to pay to install the cameras? I wish I knew the answer because it is a serious matter. I know these are animals that are being killed for produce, but they deserve to be treated right until their final day. Security cameras may cost...
