Cooking is a fun hobby that many commit themselves to, because first, it helps you learn how to actually make food by yourself. Second, it teaches you many things like patience and other skills. And most importantly, cooking can be a very fun hobby. But to learn how to cook, you need to do it firsthand. I will now show you a recipe that is simple to make, even for beginners, yet it is delicious at the same time: classic pancakes.

To start, you would need the following ingredients: flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, milk, butter, and an egg. You also need a frying pan, a wooden spoon, a gas stove, a spatula, and a large bowl.

First, put in 1 ¼ cups of flour, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 tablespoon of sugar on the bowl, and mix them together. Then make a hole in the center of the mixture, and pour in 1 ¼ cups of milk, 1 egg and 3 tablespoons of melted butter. Mix the batter again until it becomes smooth.

Heat the frying pan over your gas stove, and set the gas stove to medium – high heat. Pour or scoop ¼ cup of the batter, and spread it on the pan evenly.

Once the batter looks like a pancake, wait for a few minutes until it becomes brown, and then flip the pancake over with the spatula. After a few minutes, turn off the heat, and put the pancake on the plate. Serve it hot!
