Applying for a job in the workplace always brings different experiences every time you go through with it. In all the interviews I have had none of them have been the same format. It has gone from over the phone, to a group interview, to one on one. You have to be prepared for all types of situations when going into an interview because you never know what to expect. An example of when I had to have an interview in a group is when I applied for a job selling knifes. This was my first group interview. When I went there they all sat us around a table and asked us questions. This was a unique way to do this but as I saw it was a very effective way for them to see who people persons were because the job was directly dealing with people. Another interview I had was with a restaurant for a server. This interview was completely different in the fact that it was more a one on one interview. This experience was different because the questions were more personal and not general in this interview. They had a different goal and that was to learn about you and make sure directly that you was suitable for the job. I liked this interview type the most because it gave you the chance to directly connection with the person that was interviewing you.

The same goes for applying for a job. In my opinion when applying for a job you should always have your resume on you because you never know if they will ask to see it or conduct an interview on the spot. In my experiences I have been asked to have an interview on the spot and having your resume with me made me look more prepared then to if I said I would have to bring it another day. The two types of application processes I have encountered was a paper and on the computer. When I applied to the restaurant it was a paper application. This application is harder to me because you can’t erase or it will look sloppy. So it takes more time and concentration. Where as to the computer application it was a lot easy you can go over...
