Portfolio Analysis

Perhaps everyone came to this course with the same reason in the beginning. It was a disaster for me as well. Before the life in University, I was able to complete all challenge course without fail any of it. But last semester changes everything that I had planned. Failing courses make difficulties in not only one circumstances for myself. For example, finance, family time, and getting an opportunities of internship. Instead of understanding the fact that I wasn’t pay enough attention at all important materials in the course, I was complaining the courses were not suitable for me since the major were different from what I expected to be educated. However, after taking UNI 220 for the whole semester, something change inside me, and it let me understand that it is an important step that I must take before getting further education.

By looking though the journals that I wrote during this semester, I saw there were lots of unhealthy behavior that shaped the failure. For instance, not attending class because of the boring materials. I used to believe that instructors in all universities were only care about their studies and experiments, give lectures with the exact materials from the texts. It turns out it is a false statement since some instructors I met in ASU were actually care about teaching and getting efforts to assist student through their courses. I tried to attend all the courses during this semester to get all information that I required and it helped. Although there are still some courses I do better studying alone, I understand the importance of getting additional information and challenges can help me well prepared for next courses.

Some people might wonder the importance of responsibility of being success or failure should base on self-control or external factors, such as friends and emergency difficulties. From UNI 220 lessons, Lewis teach us the difference between urgent and important. In order to achieve goals, we should...
