In the current economy many people are currently looking for employment. Some individuals can perform almost any job. Some individuals are good at leading other individuals, while some are really good at following the lead of others. If I could design the dream job, it would be difficult to do in this day and age.

After taking the assessments of working with others I learned a little bit about myself. I think that some of the strengths that I have could also lead to being weaknesses in the long run. Some of the strengths that I have identified are that I am a people-oriented individual. When you are a leader you have to be able to deal with all kinds of individuals. I do take into account peoples feelings and emotions. I understand that it is important for individuals in a group to get along. While this could be strength, it could also become a weakness. It says that a good leader has an even balance of people-orientation and task-orientation. While I might focus more on the group and individuals, I might let the task go lacking. Another quality that I think is a strength is my ability to discipline individuals. I think this is good quality because you have to have rules, and individuals must follow those rules. As long as the rules are understand and followed by the individuals there should not be a problem. I also think another strength is to have good listening skills. If one doesn’t have good listening skills, then they could miss out on something of great importance. A good leader is one that can also learn from their employees. If the leaders are able to listen to them, then there is room for problems. One of the weaknesses that I have is that I am not that trusting of other individuals.
