Business Models and Systems

A local business whose services I use frequently would be a nail salon called D Miracle. The main components of the business are commerce, occupation, and organization. Commerce is the exchange and trade of products and services. D Miracle offers manicures and pedicures at a reasonable price. Every time I have gone to their salon I come out a satisfied customer because of how great each of their nail technicians take care of me. Each one of their technicians is certified and extremely creative with the designs it makes me feel like I have the most unique nails out there. The skills these nail techs have is one of the reasons I keep going back and is also one of the main components this company’s business model which is occupation. The last main component of this company is organization. From the minute you walk in they have someone to greet you and ask you what services you’ll be wanting for that visit. At that point they let you know how long you are looking at waiting. I have never waited longer than the time I was promised while I was there. When I moved I had to try a new salon and they were so disorganized I now wait until I travel back home to go to the salon that takes great care of their customers. They have you sign in to make sure that they take care of every customer in first come first serve. They have extreme order in the salon and give each other very specific instructions so that when you move to the next nail tech they already know exactly what you want without any kind of confusion. Having such a well-structured business model, is what has kept them being successful.
