INTRODUCTION

On-the-job training (OJT) is one of the important trainings that should be taken by a student/trainee because it provides opportunity to work in a real environment that is related to the student’s/trainee’s chosen field of work. It is the teaching skills, knowledge, and competencies that are needed to perform a specific task within the workplace and work environment. OJT is normally the most effective approach to train a student/trainee for his/her preparedness for a future job.

For the student/trainee, the main objective is to develop an understanding of employment opportunities and responsibilities through direct OJT. It also provides a realistic learning work experience that he/she would be exposed to. It could also help the student/trainee to enhance his/her skills and knowledge that can be applied in the near future as an employee.

It is an important aspect of being a student of Cavite State University-Silang Campus to take an on-the-job training for the trainee to experience the real work outside the premises of the university and to enhance the skills and knowledge of the student/trainee. The trainee, with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Human Resource Development Management, needs to obtain 240-hours of training at Eurotiles Industrial Corporation at Biga II, Silang, Cavite from April19, 2013 to May 23, 2013 every...
