A new Coffee Shop is being developed in an existing building that was used for a coffee shop that is now out of business.  The area has been established as a prime location with minimal competition, offering strong indications of meeting prime objectives within the first year.  The Stakeholders have hired D-Team to coordinate and oversee the opening of the Shop, meeting the requirements of the Stakeholders as well as keeping in mind the prime objectives.  The product will ultimately be a variety of specialty coffees along with assorted teas, and complimented with timely-themed healthy food (such as bagels for breakfast, sandwiches for lunch, etc.) One of the Stakeholders’ objectives is to be open within 6 months and have a low profit margin.  In order to meet this deadline, we intend to have twice-weekly meetings to coordinate and confirm we are on task.  In addition Microsoft Project will be utilized in order to provide the Stakeholders with updates and notifications as well as help keep us on track with a firm schedule.We will continue to have meetings once a week when the shop opens.  This will be so as to review the company’s results and make modifications as needed.  Once a month we will assist in the P&L meeting to ensure we are in line to meet our goals within the first seven months. |
