Implementing change within an organization is a presumptuous task that must be taken to ensure the ongoing momentum of success and desire to accomplish the goals of a corporation. Being flexible, unguarded, adaptable and attentive are key elements to surviving and differentiating between our competition. External forces bestowed upon the company lead to various internal influences that change the way decisions are made. Different factors need to be considered when implementing change in an organization successfully. Overseeing several different types of resistance from external and internal influences are easy to manage once the issues are identified and solutions are retained.

The internal forces are direct results that the external forces have on the company. Investing in technology and providing sufficient equipment provides sustenance for employees on their path to improving their production of results. Technology is an external force that has impact on the worth or value the employees’ results are to the company. If the employee knows they have been given the best quality of tools, training and knowledge to work with than they will produce phenomenal results to match. A positive environment or behavior in colleagues is an external factor that is essential to the growth and well being of the employee. A leader needs to consider what motivates employees on a physical and emotional level. Morale needs to be maintained and boosted to prevent a feeling of disengagement. These feelings of poor morale, lack of trust, or feeling of disengagement are internal factors that could affect the chain of production throughout the company like an infectious disease.

Customer demands are an external force that triggered me to make the decision to hire new employees in order for the company to take on so many projects at once. Turning a customer away would show incompetency and shelter the reputation of the growth of the company. Loyalty to the company is an...
