PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

Personal responsibility is taking responsibility for your own actions, accepting the consequences that come from those actions, and understanding how to improve. We have certain responsibility for our family, our job, co-workers, school, community and so on. Every one requires a different kind of responsibilities and each change with every new circumstance that take places. Personal Responsibility is also willingness to both accept societies standards and to live by those standards. We live in a society where standard is based on the status quo of the very top ranking and elite group of people due to their economic status. But personal responsibility also means that when an individual fail to meet the expected standards, they don’t turn the blame on someone else outside of themselves. The demise of personal responsibility is when an individual blame their family, their peers, their economic circumstances, or their society for their own failure to meet the expected standards. Personal responsibility plays a major role in our life experiences, personal development, and education.

Life experiences differ with each individual journey in our lifetime. As human beings we are born to make mistake in this world, it is the experience of making mistake that we learn personal responsibility for our actions. Being personally responsible is part of our learning process in this life. We are held responsible for all the decisions we make in our lives. When we make a mistake and we unknowingly offend someone we are responsible to make amend with that person to a point where we are sure that there is no hard feelings when we part. Personally responsible with your actions in any aspect will greatly diminish any negative karmic cycle that will come your way.
