Clean Brite Company Ltd Rich Picture

To identify key actors in this rich picture, the process I followed was:

▪ First, I identified actors described in the case study. These actors are the people, the systems, the organizations, or the organizational hierarchies of those organizations. In this case study, some actors I identified were: executive board, management group, managing director, CBC and its new bought branch – SAL, the IS and other departments…

▪ Next, I identified problems in the case study. Those problems are:

o The relationship between SAL and CBC because both organizations have their own cultures that need to be integrated.

o The staff in CBC organization because they have worry about and dissatisfaction with their jobs.

o The relationship between the management group and the executive board since their plans and decisions conflicts.

o The relationship between the IS department and the rest of the company because the IS department is not trusted and viewed as distinct and aloof by the rest of the company.

o The relationship between the IS department and 2 other contractors as the IS department think that the company does not need to employ them.

o And the IS department itself also has problems of developing IT systems.

▪ After that, I identified what would be the focus of the rich picture. As you can see, the focus of my rich picture is the IS department and the business analyst (I will explain why I chose them later).
