Abstract:-

The main aim of this project is to explore the possibility of integrating a glucometer and internet so that the new machine can be used to send the blood glucose values directly to a cloud server which will then tell the patient what dose of insulin should be administered. This removes any possibility of the patient playing truant with the monitoring or administration and also helps the doctor with easing the monitoring and treatment of the disease. Also the end result is a better controlled blood glucose level which will vastly increase the quality of life of the patient.
