INTRODUCTION

Company Profile

Divina Bunggato Carunay Fontanilla Enterprise was founded in December 20, 2012 as a family business. DBCF was named after Honorable Vice Mayor Francisco Angelito Fontanilla’s wife, Mrs. Divina Bunggato Carunay Fontanilla. They started as distributors of Asiawide Refreshments Corporation products like RC Cola 240 ML and RC Cola 800 ML.

The DBCF Enterprise is located at Baroro, Bacnotan, La Union; managed by Vice Mayor Fontanilla. They started with four employees and they are getting their products at Asiawide Refreshments Corporation Pampanga Plant in Barangay Calulut, City of San Fernando.

Since DBCF Enterprise, they added new products to distribute like Juicy Lemon 240 ML and RC Cola 1.5 L. From four employees now they have six employees.

Situation Analysis

Information Technology (IT) is widely used in business and the field of computing. People use the terms generically when referring to various kinds of computer-related work. It is also referred to as consisting of three basic parts: computational data processing, decision support, and business software. This time period marked the beginning of IT as an officially defined area of business. 

One of the most significant outcomes of the progress of information technology is probably electronic commerce over the Internet, a new way of conducting business. Though only a few years old, it may radically alter economic activities and the social environment. Already, it affects such large sectors as communications, finance and retail trade and might expand to areas such as education and health services. It implies the seamless application of information and communication technology along the entire value chain of a business that is conducted electronically.
