INTRODUCTION Stress has been defined in many ways, but current research defines it as a dynamic interaction of external, environmental factors with a person - that brings about cognitive, behavioral, but also psychological and physiological changes. Viewing stress from this perspective allows for an understanding of the complexity of the study of stress, considering the various factors and the multitude of interactions between them. But in reality, stress is a word that emerges in life nearly every day. Especially for students, it is a word that is used to describe tasks like homework and exams, or situations like dealing with an uncooperative groupmate or difficult professor. But even these practical definitions of stress begin to hit at the concept of stress as a whole. Because though the theoretical frameworks underlying the concept are complex, they are simply ways of understanding and explaining the experiences that each person goes through in their lives. Thus this study is aimed towards being able to create order in the everyday experiences of stress on students in the Ateneo de Manila University, and from this information provide solutions for stress management. Statement of the Problem What is the leading cause of stress for students? How can this be most successfully managed? The general objective of the study is to create a program in combating stress of the Atenean community by a proactive mechanism of student reported concerns into reflected action.
