Chapter 3

METHODOLGY

This chapter presents a brief discussion of the method of research used and the subject involved in the study. It includes the description of the instrument, procedures used in the gathering of data, sources and treatment of each.

Research Design:

This research is a quantitative research that will be done by the survey of customer satisfaction on hotel and study employed the descriptive-normative method of research. Primary data were gathered through the questionnaire method supplemented and complemented by informal interviews. Secondary data were gathered from previous researches, annual reports, magazines, books and through internet access.

In order to obtain data for the calculation of explicit and implicit importance, as well as the level of customer satisfaction, this study used questionnaires as a tool to get response from the subjects. The questionnaires were sent to their upon arrivals, to rate the performance of the proposed quality attributes after their make use of the services in hotel and also rating, in multiple items.

This is descriptive in nature because the data gathered were summarized and reduced to meaningful values that describe the characteristics of the samples used in the study.

Research Locale and Population, Sample:

The subjects of this study were 75 customer and institutional workers. The respondents were chose because they work in the same system of operation. The respondents are presently customer satisfaction in the hotel at the Southeast Asian College Inc.

Furthermore, the customer receives the same benefits, training and orientation.

The Southeast Asian College Inc. has 60 persons of monthly customers and is considered a tertiary school located at 6. N. Ramirez Street, Quezon City, Philippines, Therefore, this amount of customer was considered as population of the research. Therefore only 75 questionnaires were randomly as sample of this research....
