Public Speaking Introductory Speech

Ladies and Gentlemen. A very Good Morning to one and all present here.

I am extremely honored to have the chance to address the chief guest in this prestigious moment when our institution celebrates its first ever Annual Entrepreneurship week commencing from tomorrow. This is a precious moment for us because aside from the fact this function underlines our college’s successful back-to-back 75 years in its realm of imparting education, this dais is also going to witness the showcasing of talents of the students of this university.

Our chief guest this year, is such a wonderful person who had won the prestigious U.S Professor of the year award for the year 2013. He earned his PhD from the University of Yale and teaches Marketing at the prestigious Harvard Business School. He has more than 27 years of experience in the area of Marketing and he has also served as the Chief Marketing Officer at Dell from 2002-2010 before he moved to Harvard Business School. He has also authored 10 books out of which most of them sold more than 25 million copies. Apart from his successful profession in marketing and academics, he has selflessly contributed to the welfare of the society. He was an active member of the Red cross society and has successfully carried out various campaigns. I consider it not only my privilege but the honor for our entire university to host him as the inaugurator of our priceless function today. I cordially welcome Mr. Krishnan to the celebration.
