Ethical Challenge

Doing the right thing when nobody is watching can be very difficult for many individuals to do. In order for our business to triumph, we must conduct all of our business processes in an ethical manner. It can come from all types of members of our business. Each of our technicians will be issued company smart phones in order for them to be capable of processing payment transactions wirelessly over the web. A possibility of unethical behavior for this given situation could be the technician using the company issued smart phone for making personal calls, domestic or long distance. Now a crazy phone bill like that will not be easy to stare at. Along with the smartphones, we will also be issuing a Panasonic Toughbook allowing our technicians to research specific data concerning the vehicle at hand in any weather and environment while taking the rigorous everyday beating of on the field maintenance (www.panasonic.com/business/toughbook). Then again the laptop could be used to surf the web when not actually performing a service or playing any online gambling games. Even worse they could be watching pornography and potentially doing things that could make the laptop a prime target for a virus to enter. Another possibility our business may face, could be some sort of lawsuit against us, due to the technicians returning at night to burglarize the home of the person who had his/her vehicle oil service performed there. It is important for us to hire licensed technicians, but just as important if not more, people with great morals to reflect what our company stands for.

Legal Challenges

For our business to get going, we need to be cleared on all the legal matters we may need or probably come in contact with.
