Robert Robertson resigns from MASK Financial Group
Jamaica, New York, – August 6, 2010 – Today, Mask Financial Group is announcing that Robert Robertson, chief financial officer (CFO), has resigned effective immediately.
Brian Clark, controller, will serve as interim CFO until a new CFO can be appointed. Brian’s experience includes 25 years of senior financial management, of which 15 years has been with our company. He is actively involved in all managerial aspects of our company for more than 10 years.
Robertson was with us for nine years. He did not provide a reason for his departure. Under his leadership, the company developed a strong finance and accounting team.
In May, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) started an investigation of our company’s accounting practices concerning revenue recognition. This investigation is still ongoing and precedes Robertson’s departure.
We will provide future updates regarding the SEC’s findings.
