Some people don’t realize the difference in program planning and program evaluation, I intend to clarify this topic to the best of my ability so that we all are on the same page. In program planning us as a team of professionals are going to implement a plan on what our specific goals are. The abused don’t go looking to be abused, they do not want to live in fear and belittled and abused in every aspect of the word; there is not enough programs available for this targeted area. Program planning is where we are going to present an agenda that helps the abused in all areas such as counseling, safety, jobs. Education is another area that needs to be addressed because a lot of victims believe they are the reason this abuse occurs. With domestic violence comes a lot of struggle with self-esteem, this is something we plan to target by offering counseling to women, men, and the children involved. Safety is something that always seems to effect domestic violence victims, we plan to offer a warm safe place for the abused and the children. There will be programs to ensure that we do everything in our power to build those torn down by this issue and allow them to have a life of happiness and security. Their well-being and safety from abuse is our target in our program planning. Program evaluation is targeting the area that is in need and all the needs that need to be met. Evaluation also deals with statistics on the issue at hand. Program evaluation is carefully collecting information about a program or some aspects of a program in order to make necessary decisions about the program. This evaluation process can...
