The following is special lecture titled: The Chinas Economic Miracle.

The lecturer is Professor Philip Brown. Professor Brown is an assistant Professor of economics at Colby College. He earned his bachelor of art degree from Colorado College and his doctorate in economics from the University of Michigan. In addition to his position in Colby College, Professor Brown serves as a research fellow at the University of Michigan's William Davidson institute. He is published the number of academic articles and does frequent field work in China and Latin America. In 2005 Professor Brown served as the principal investigator of the detailed study of Chinas new Comparative medical system. Professor Brown has also received numbers prestigious fellowship and won the john Eliot parker memorial prize in the labor economics and human resources.
