Applying ANOVA and Nonparametric tests Simulation
The "Applying ANOVA and Nonparametric tests" simulation, gave me a change to recognize a small number of things to take into thought while analyzing a problem. This particular exercise wanted to make out the differences and causes of the difference. In order to determined the answer, an person or whoever is conducting the study will need to know what kind of test to used, make a decision if the null hypothesis should be rejected or not, and make suggestion based on the collected data.
Due to two parameters, ANOVA and the Krusla-Wallis Test (Nonparametric) were used in the exercise. The ANOVA was used for numerous studies and the population is assumed a standard distribution. In addition, it can be used to test for major differences between means. On the other hand, the nonparametric test makes no assumption about the type of distribution. I made a few mistakes because I had chosen the wrong test and failed to reject the null hypothesis.
I misread the results and did not observe the hypothesis test (H) exceeded the Chi-square critical value. I learned that it is very important to ensure the right test is used and the outcome is interpreted correctly. In my workplace, we can benefit from the ANOVA by comparing previous years and present financial plan inside hospital. We would be capable to see the difference of the annual financial plan and actual operating cost for each year. The variances will vary but if there is a major raise or decrease, an assessment will be necessary.
This will help us to hand out funds based on the needs of each unit and avoid under and over spending. A company ought to produce quality, monitors production, procedures and improves there course of action when conducting a business. An incorrect choice can influence a company as a whole. These tests can help identify the development adjust and improve addressing quality issues.
