My first thoughts were , 'Will he do it today.. n God please let him get this hundred - It will be a relief to him and to the entire nation !!'

I have always liked Sachin Tendulkar and for that matter, a majority of the Indians who are cricket lovers like him too. Going down the memory lane, I vividly remember persuading my mother to let me watch the World cup matches during exams ..getting emotionally charged during those India Vs Pakistan matches.. the Sharjah matches where Sachin was all over the Australians...Ahh..CRICKET!! India's favourite sport and the players? Ohh yes..they are worshipped with fervour , godly qualities are attributed to them, pujas are performed before each match..! One name that has become synonymous with cricket over the years is Sachin Tendulkar, the ' Man people call God - God of Cricket '.
Nowadays, i get to see posts and shares about Sachin in facebook or news about the glittering,star studded party thrown by Mukesh Ambani to celebrate Sachin's 100th hundred or Kris Srikanth rattling away that Sachin should not retire or Kapil Dev - Sourav Ganguly giving their opinion that Sachin should retire or those Sports columns in the newspapers featuring articles by cricket experts/cricket legends giving their suggestions as how to score the most coveted century ......... Phew!
Well the long and short of it is - People have opined that Sachin is absurdly escalating/extending his gaming career in what should have been his commentary years....
