Dear Sir,

I am writing to you because I would like to discuss with you the argument I have with your philosophy that God does not exist. I do agree with you on your philosophy of there not being one true god for everybody to turn to for guidance and answers to their questions about life. In my eyes, there is more than one god that watches over all of us. I agree with what you said about “Man is free but they are not condemned to freedom”. How do you feel we have the values that we do if there was not at least one God watching over us or even our ancestors before us? Although we are taught our values from the time we are born someplace along the line somebody has to have picked them up for them to be taught to us So there had to be at least one god watching us. There are times that we cannot help what fate has thrown at us even though we are responsible for our own actions. Everybody can say that they have a similar incident happen to them at least once in their life. How can we as people be universal legislatures as to what is right and what is wrong? People bend rules every day for someone who needs them bent even if what they have done is wrong. I know this from personal experiences. My husband was taken away from his family and job and sent to jail for riding an ATV on the road after having a few drinks but I know people who have had DUI related accidents that could have been fatal but they walk away with a...
