Dear Mrs. Williams:

News of your excellent presentations have caught our attention and we are very interested in your strategies for job hunting. I would like to introduce you to Technology Training which is a non-profit organization that offers training programs for people who need to develop and/or upgrade computer skills as well as develop life skills that will make them successful in the workplace.

In today's uncertain economy, it is getting harder and harder to get a job. Technology Training has recently been featured in newspaper articles and news pieces on the local television and radio stations for its innovative training programs as well as its students’ success stories. Everyone is impressed with the success our graduates obtain by simply improving basic life skills.

On August 19, 2013, our institution will be holding a special workshop "Making your Dreams Come True" with several lectures to help our students develop their potential. I am writing this letter to hopefully appeal to your goodwill to give your presentation on “Dressing for Success” to the students at Technology Training, at no charge.

Although our limited funds do not allow us to pay your fee or expenses, we can promise a big audience of enthusiastic people eager to learn from you and we are hoping that helping these people will be a sufficient incentive for you to be with us. In addition, we can arrange transportation for you, and we will be honored if you would be our guest at dinner that evening. Some of our students have never worked, and they have no idea how important image is in the workplace or how to create a positive impression with their appearance. By sharing your expertise, our students will benefit in countless ways. Even just one kind soul can indeed make a difference, because it is with help like yours that they can get a job and improve their living...
