I. INTRODUCTION
A. Background of study
In the span of the past couple of years, the rates of road accidents have been mounting resulted in increasing casualties and deaths. Thus a few methods have been implemented in Malaysia to reduce this rate as well to discipline the road users. One of the ways is by the implementation of Automated Enforcement system.
B. Objectives
The objectives of this study not only to identify the responsiveness about the Automated Enforcement System among the students but also analyzing the effectiveness of the Automated Enforcement System in Malaysia and seeking approaches in improving the implementation of this system.
C. Scope
In order to determine the awareness and knowledge of the Automated Enforcement System, this study was only carried out among the part two and part five students majoring in Estate Management study from the Faculty of Architecture, Planning, and Surveying, Shah Alam to acts as respondents.
II. PROCEDURE
In order to gain information for the report, there is one method that has been used.
A. Questionnaire
1. Design the questionnaire
Four sections were designed in questionnaire. Section A is regarding the respondent’s profile and section B is about general opinion on Automated Enforcement System. The effects of Automated Enforcement System are on section C meanwhile, section D is concerning on the improvements.
2. Distributing and collecting the questionnaire
32 questionnaires were distributed to students majored in Estate Management in the Faculty of Architecture, Planning and Surveying. 20 questionnaires were distributed to part two students on 21st October 2013 and were collected on the same day. The rest questionnaires were distributed on 22nd October 2013 to students from part five but were collected on the next day 23rd October 2013. Every respondent were given approximately 10 to 15 minutes to reply questionnaire. All 32 questionnaires were returned back.
