My primary sources were Westlaw, FindLaw and the IRS sourced from the web and Kaplan

Library.

What secondary sources did your use?

My Secondary sources were Nolo, All Law, National Institute of Business Management, and

Case briefs.

What search terms did you use for each search?

The search terms I used were Employee, Employer, Car Accident, Vicarious liability, Scope of

Employment, Respondeat Superior, frolic and detour case law.

What search method did you use (Terms and Connectors, Natural Language, and/or Easy

Search)?

I searched both Natural Language and Terms and Connectors.

John and his boss are on a business trip together and John decides to eat at his cousin’s house, which is on the way to the manufacturing plant. While on the way there, John collided with and injured a motorcyclist.
