Research has shown about 50% of the organizations have failed in the culture shaping processes or have difficulties on continuing their quality improvement programs (Rick Mauer, 1997). The most common reason that cause fail on promoting positive culture is that they encounter resistance from employees.

Getting the right people is essential to a positive workplace culture.

When hiring new employees, Alfred Health look for an upbeat disposition; to keep employees positive attitude and productive, Alfred Health has operated several programs, ensure people with aligned values and behaviors create positive workplace cultures. Alfred Health also has tried hard to retain the high performing employees. One of these actions Alfred has taken is to investigate the reasons and destination of the leaving staff. Alfred has applied a new data process for analyzing the leaving staff Alfred takes consideration seriously on what they thought of Alfred Health before they left, and whether they would consider returning as an employee.
