Disruptive Innovation in Sports World cup 2014 which is an international men’s football tournament is approaching in Brazil and it is one of the exciting sports event which attract many eyeballs from the world. Many players in World cup will strike for the brilliant achievements and greatest honors to their life. When a player devotes to one event seriously, he will be fully attached to it psychically and psychologically, his performance will largely reflect by his degree of dedication to certain extent. However, it is also found that a crucial factor could distinguish an extra-ordinary player among the general players or sportsperson. The factor is the innovation. From previous stunning moments in various sports, we found that innovation brought them success: Fosbury Flop Innovation in sports is important. It is a legend that an athlete succeed in his event by not only undergo hard training but also think of an innovative way to perform. His name is Richard Douglas Fosbury.
