Summary

β€œAn organization cannot build a good team of working professionals without good Human Resources.” ("Importance of Human Resource Management", n.d.). Organizations can benefit from a well-built HR department. However, the success of the HR department is directly proportional to the success of the organization. The purpose of this paper, in response to COO Riordan Manufacturing Hugh McCauley, is to find a way to integrate various HR tools into an integrated software application, thus improving the HR department.

Stakeholders -

To make an accurate appraisal of the HR system requiring needs, the involvement of key stakeholders need to be involved as they hold higher value in the decision-making process. The following below is a compiled list of these stakeholders:

CEO

Dr. Michael Riordan is the boss of the entire company. Michael conducts corporate strategies to increase company performance. Because Michael conducts these strategies and is concerned with the performance of the company, along with the services provided, Michael will be involved as an updated HR department involves the performance of the company.

Chief Operating Officer

Chief Operating Officer Hugh McCauley coordinates the activities and operations of the company to meet goals and objectives set by CEO Dr. Michael Riordan and the board of directors.

Director of Human Resources

The Director of Human Resources Yvonne McMillan establishes policies, coordinates the HR department. The HR department is responsible for but not limited to employment, labor, training, and company benefits.

IS/IT Officer

The Information System/Information Technology officer Maria Trihn develops and establishes strategies for IS/IT systems based on the goals of the company.

Chief Financial Officer

The Chief Financial Officer Dale Edgel advises the financial standings of the company in an effort to achieve company goals and standards.
