Detecting Albinism might be one of the easiest disorders to detect. The main give away of whether or not the person has Albinism is if they have no pigment. People with this are ghostly white. Also, their eyesight is very poor.

Albinism is a “recessive trait”, so even if only one of the two copies of the gene is functional, a person can make pigment, but will carry the albinism trait. Both parents must carry a defective OCA gene to have a child with albinism.
