The Holy Bible is Fact

The Gospel is defined as “good news”. As Christians, the Bible is a fundamental and foundational part of a Christian’s life. The Bible can be used to strengthen one’s faith as well as to convert non-believers to Christianity. However, we must always keep things in the proper perspective, as science is of man and the Bible is of God. 2 Timothy 3:16 says that, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness". This verse demonstrates the significance of every word in the Bible and the fact that there is a purpose behind every verse. The almighty, all-powerful, omniscient, and omnipresent God is our creator and perfect in nature. He has the power and presence to accomplish as he pleases in order to satisfy our needs or test our patience. Exodus 20:11 says that, “For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy”. This represents God’s ability to create in a timely manner and demonstrates God as the creator of the universe, which is the controversy between believers and non-believers. God could speak one word and it would all come into existence. He says in His Word that He created it in six days and God's Word is infallible, while people are sinners. In Genesis, God creates man on day six as both Adam and Eve are sculpted by God the Father. This demonstrates that they lived for part of the sixth and seventh days with each day lasting twenty-four hours. Why is it so important to believe in a 24-hour day as described in the Bible? If we don't take the Bible at face value and add human interpretations to it in one area, we're bound to fail in other critical areas of the Bible, such as the account of Jesus’ death and resurrection.
