Unit 2 Assignment

I read an article on managementhelp.org; they article was created by a Carter McNamara it was released in April 30th of 2013. It is called Building a Business, and the guest post that I read is called Simple Steps to Small Business Savings from Brittany Evans.

They intended audience is for small or large business owners primarily, but it is also for future business owners and people that may just be interested in saving money and how to be more cost effective when it comes to the business side of things.

To me they main point is basically advice on how to be more financially sound, and a few ways to make sure a business can keep their head above water, and how to keep the bills down so that they income will be more than what I going out.

To me the writer of this article jumped straight in and got to the point of things. She listed the ways that will cut down on costs and then she gave an explanation as to why they advise will help the business keep costs down.

They only thing Ii really liked about the article is that fact that the writer does give valid points and explanations on how something as simple as different light bulbs could be a big difference in the utility bill every month.

I think they author could of given better reference points in case more research was needed or wanted. I did not see one reference point in the article. She did not say where she got them information; nor did she go on to back up her statements on how doing these things would save a business any kind of money.

I think they article could have been written so that is was more informative and substantial. Because with the article the way it is I feel like it is more of a personal advice articles nothing that has been proven or backed up with cold hard facts.
