Health care administrators have an enormous effect on the medicine's world. The leadership which these professionals offer sets the future progression for both the facilities that they run and also the whole health care system.

As a health care administrator, you are responsible to establish standards for the health care, make a strategic rule and implement the workforces’ management actions necessary for supporting your vision. Moreover to that, health care administrators should not only have internal leadership but also they are leaders in the larger community as well. They partner with other health care organizations, comply with government regulations, advocate and testify on behalf of health care policies, and maintain campuses that are significant to communities. There are two forms of health care administrators, generalists, and specialists. Generalists are those who are in charge of managing or serving to maintain a whole facility. Specialists are individuals who are in control of the practical operations of a particular division “such as policy analysis, finance, accounting, budgeting, human resources, or marketing” (http://www.mshealthcareers.com/careers/healthcareadmin.htm). Usually, health administrators work in an office environment. They are responsible “for managing hospitals, community health centers, clinics, private medical group practices, managed care organizations, nursing homes, and other healthcare facilities” (http://www.mshealthcareers.com/careers/healthcareadmin.htm).
