In April, Carl Robins, the new recruiter hired fifteen new employees to begin working in June. This was his first recruitment, so a perfect recruitment is unlikely. They were going to work for Monica Carroll’s. In May, Monica contacted Carl about the new recruits regarding their training, schedule, orientation, manuals, policy booklets, physicals, and drug testing, and many more issues. Carl then looked at his paperwork to see if everything was set for orientation, and then discovered some of the new employees had some troubles with their paperwork. Such as, non-completed applications, or transcripts on file, and none of them had completed their mandatory drug screening. After he discovered all these set backs he also discovered he did not have enough orientation manuals and the ones he had were incomplete. After being so stressed and frustrated he decided to take a walk and while walking past the room where the orientation was going to be held he checked the schedule of the room and saw that Joe, who was from technology services had booked the room for a month to do a training seminar.

Carl has many issues that need to be focused upon and worked out. The first step he should take is contacting Monica and letting her know that the new hires start date might need to be changed to a later date. He then needs to contact the new hires and tell them they need to complete their applications, transcripts, physicals, and their drug screening. Carl also needs to get more orientation manuals, and let the new hires know they may not be able to start as soon as he had originally thought. He then needs to check the room where orientation is going to be held to make sure it is not booked in the time frame he needs.
