You know what the people here haven’t really spoken much about? About meeting the like-minded people that become your travellers in life. As an actress sometimes people care about what I care about

So we’re here in Beverly hills, which lets face it, is the moon! It’s the weirdest place on Earth! And for reason I have some currency here and the best thing i have done so far with it, is to decide to join the wonderful people here at the Worldwide Orphans Foundation and I am incredibly honored to here this afternoon with so many incredibly talented, compassionate, curious, open minded and open hearted people in the room. And so now I am going to speak right from the heart and I am going to ask you all to close your eyes just for a minute. Just take a minute to think about your children, so if you have children picture them, and if you don’t have children think about yourself as a child and then think about the things that made you feel warm, loved, happy and protected, think about the things that made you feel okay. Now take that warm feeling and put it into your heart and now I bet your all smiling thinking about the beautiful faces of your children. So, now I ask you to open your eyes and to realize that there are so many children in the world who have none of that. They have nothing. They have no one who lights up when they walk into the room and they have no clothes, no safety and no food. So who are we to be in this rooms living the lives we are without helping them. That’s it that’s the simple truth

People don’t talk about how good it feels to be of service, it actually selfishly makes you feel really good. Its good for your ego! And we should tell people that. And what I have learnt from Dr. Jane Aronson that no problem is to big, there is nothing that cannot be overcome.
