Lululemon Case

    Lululemon is a yoga athletic wear company founded in 1998 and over the last 20 years they have helped innovate new technologies into athletic wear instead of the usual cotton apparel. However over the last year sales have decreased rapidly and Lululemon is in need of some guidance to help bring their company back to the success it used to be. So we, Boca consulting, are here to guide them. As our mission statement says  Boca Consulting is a multilingual company dedicated to providing high quality consulting services that professionally address the business needs of our clients. We conduct socially responsible business at the same time as delivering highly superior financial results to our investors. We aim to provide a collaborative cultural environment for our clients and employees to succeed at a personal and professional level. Lululemon has had some major problems with not only sales but PR, Public Relations, as a whole along with product defects and the company not taking any initiative into solving these problems. We aim in this meeting to help address these issues with Lululemon and offer our solution to their major crisis.  

In the case of Lululemon there are two main symptoms in which are affecting the company currently. The first symptom involves Lululemon’s low sales rate. One element of their low sales rate is the high cost of products to consumers. For example a simple pair of “city joggers” on the lululemon retails for $128.00. Most consumers can get a similar product for a much cheaper price in many other retail stores. A second element to the low sales rate is the controversial interviews given by chairman Chip Wilson. Many of his interviews have been viewed very outrageous and disrespectful towards his consumers. A third element is the high market competition between companies such...
