In service provision, the most fundamental aspect requisite for substantial and persistent growth in profit making is marketing. The perceptions of potential and existing customers about the service provision of a company greatly rely on the level of quality of services offered, the level of expertise employed, and the level of efficiency that implies cost minimization (Macey et al. 2014). In light of this, it is paramount for profit making organization to take into account such factors to realize amicable performance depicted by the extent of the profit margins realized. This paper seeks to assess the case study of Dr. Beckett’s dentistry that engages in provision of services regarding toothaches and other related ailments.

Question 1: Elements of Service Marketing Mix

Dr. Beckett’s Dentistry, captures a number of the essential elements of the service marketing mix. It refers to the blue print design of a company that forms an integral part of service provision. Principally, it involves seven core elements that include product, pricing, promotion, placement, people, process, and the physical evidence of the firm (Kushwaha et al. 2015). For instance, the aspects of place and physical evidence has been clearly depicted by the physical relocation of the firm from its initial location where Dr. Beckett deems it too cramped for the staff to work efficiently. As such, the current location of the dentistry not only provides room for efficiency but also creates conducive environment for the patients thus, implies improvement in the quality of services offered.
