My Personal Mission Statement

I believe that above all, my ultimate goal is to achieve and maintain happiness but not at the expense of others. I strive to advance through continuing education to provide a better quality of service for my patients. It takes more than just desire to achieve my goals, therefore, I am very ambitious and hardworking. Self-motivation drives me to achieve more than I thought is possible, helping me to always keep an open mind. I treat others with respect through patience, compassion, understanding, and tact. Collaboratively building bonds of trust and reliability between those that depend on me is something I value. Bringing a positive attitude and smiles are always needed to make any place more energetic and pleasant.

I could see my personal statement linked to any organization. First, I think everyone searches for happiness in his or her own way and I would want those working in my organization to find some happiness in what they do. I am a strong believer in people who love what they do. Those who enjoy their work are happy workers and strive to do their best according to their abilities. As such they are self-motivated individuals who ultimately improve the workplace. These are the types of employees of which I would seek. They would strive to do more than just what is required. Having respect for one another should be a given and automatic for most people but will always be emphasized in some way to help establish a better, non-hostile environment. Having key qualities such as patience, compassion, understanding, and tact can help anyone be more respectful towards others. It feels good to be trusted and depended on and you should have the same expectation in your fellow workers. Having a positive attitude and even a smile can change the mood dramatically. With everyone doing these things I feel the work place would be more energetic and pleasant.
