My full name is Karen Denise Alston ,I'm not fully aware as to why my parents decides to give that name to me but it works so I don't have a problem with it. A lot of people call me Kay or k-dub. I was born on August 16,1968 in Liberty city Miami . I was raised by my mother and father along with my sister and 3 brothers . My earliest childhood memory was when me and my older brother fought about not being able to eat any candy because he didn't finish eating all of his always spent together with family. Nothing fancy but we always had fun . I have one child which is your student Ashanti Patterson she is my one and only miracle child she is 17 years old. My profession is a radiology transporter at Jmh I didn't choose it it kind of chose me. I want people to remember me by being a very giving understanding person. I have a very mixed ethnic heritage including Bahamian ,Dominican, Trinidadian and other things but I identify as an African American. My heritage and different ethnic backgrounds mean a lot to me I always make sure i am embracing all backgrounds and not just one . I feel as food. My religion growing up was a Methodist Christian but I didn't attend church that much and I don't remember what the name of the church was. Holidays were though it helps build a strong foundation especially into adult hood.
