Abortion

In the world today that abortion takes place every second of every day. Abortion is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, the expulsion of a fetus from the uterus by natural causes before it is able to survive independently or the biology term; the arrest of the development of an organ, typically a seed or fruit. Women around the world have used abortion to control their reproduction at every point in history and in every known society - regardless of its legality. The effects of an abortion can be as unique as the individual who is having the abortion.

While women of every social class seek terminations, the typical woman who ends her pregnancy is either a teenager facing an unplanned pregnancy or had a failed conception, rape victims who have the feeling of shame or that the pregnancy is not their fault and that they should not have to go through it. Mothers who feel that the pregnancy is a risk for their own health or some mother who cannot support the child because of living in poverty and being a single mother may seek terminators for an abortion.

There are two kinds of abortion in the United States, medical abortion is a type of non-surgical abortion in which abortifacient pharmaceutical drugs are used to induce abortion. Mifepristone can end pregnancy that is less than 7 weeks along (49 days or fewer since the start of the last menstrual period). Misoprostol was used in combination with another drug to cause abortion. Medical abortion procedures are available for terminating a pregnancy during the early weeks of the first trimester. These drugs usually trigger contractions and expel the fetus. The type of surgical abortion procedure used is based on the woman's stage of pregnancy.
