NUTR 150 Eating Out Assignment

NUTR 150 Eating Out Assignment

Name: | Abraham Frometa |

Eating out has become a national norm. College students often eat at fast-food establishments because they are convenient, social, and perceived as being low-cost. The purpose of this assignment is to help you become more aware of the nutritional value of restaurant foods. In the first part of the assignment, you will determine your caloric and nutrient recommendations using the Dietary Reference Intake (DRI) standards. Then you will compare the caloric and nutrient values of typical restaurant meals to your recommendations. By becoming an educated consumer, you can become more skilled in making healthful meal choices when dining out. Before starting, review the rubric so you are aware of what you will be graded on. Notice that you will be docked points for spelling and grammar errors.
