On July 16, 1995, one of the things that has taken the world by store stated, that thing was the launch of Amazon. Before Amazon there were a few different ways in which consumer could shop you could order things over the phone from a catalog or you could go to your local retail store or mall. Amazon has changed everything and everyone’s way of thinking about shopping. Instead of having to fight crowds for certain items that you want or the worry about traffic and lines on the traditional Black Friday Shopping you can purchase almost any item that anyone could want from the comfort of your own home. When someone factors in the hassle of attempting to find a parking spot in a busy shopping center, the stress of dealing with crowds of people and the potential disappointment if the item that you were searching for is already sold out, Amazon is the solution to the whole situation.

Over that last 20 years, Amazon has created and refined what could be called the best shopping experience ever. What they have done with all of the advancements in technology and their innovations and almost completely eliminated all of the negative aspects of shopping. In today’s world everyone has become accustomed to virtual instant gratification, where before the element of patience was needed, with everything that Amazon does it has not only propelled itself to the top of the online shopping world it has also aided other companies to grow by allowing their products to be sold on the Amazon website. When it comes to the business of almost anything the customer satisfaction is the most important thing in being successful. “Customer satisfaction is based on a subjective appraisal on the part of the consumer. It is an experience-based assessment of whether a product or service meets or surpasses his or her expectations. By definition, a customer is satisfied only when the benefits derived from a purchase meet or exceed his or her prior expectations of product value.” (Finch, 2012)...
