BMW’s Dream Factory and Culture

In looking at the case of BMW’s Dream Factory and Culture, this large in dollar sales but is smaller compared to the American rivals, still gives other companies a run for there money when it comes to consistency in producing an ever changing product line. This company is one that stays a head of the game and has near to flawless quality of its products and insuring that it will be something the consumers will like. Pushing change throughout the organization to ensure it strength is something that the chief executive Norbert Reithofer sees as positive reinforcement for all workers of BMW.

Although BMW’s management system is flat, flexible, entrepreneurial, and fast, the success of the company comes from the entrepreneurial culture. This type of culture is rare in corporate Germany. The top-down approach is the type of management style that is used in German culture and this approach is unique in its own right. Even with the outstanding number of people and this type of working approach, the employees have become a network. Every type of person from all levels of this company work side by side, by creating informal networks where even the most unorthodox ideas for making better bimmers or boosting profits can be voiced. This type of leadership that is illustrated at BMW makes this company successful. Allowing its employees to be apart of the process and the inter making of this company make the workers continue to produce better cars which produce better results, which further produce better sales.

The employees derive high job satisfaction at BMW because of the knowledge and skills that they have in order to perform the job duties necessary in an enriching and effective way.
