Kings Essay

Kings was a great show that had strong connections to biblical events. Although names and places were changed, the show clearly had strong ties to events that occurred in the Bible. The show is a portrayal of the Biblical story in which Saul is king of Israel, and his son wants to be king. It follows the lives of the royal family as well as the story of David vs. Goliath.

It turns out that one of the prisoners David rescued was King Silas’ son. David becomes a national hero as the picture of him standing up to the tank is all over the newspapers. The King invites David to the capital and throws a banquet in honor of him for saving his son, Prince Jack.
