The three sources that I used to help me develop my definition of Marketing were, International Encyclopedia of Hospitality and Management (1989) located in the AIU library, The Columbia Encyclopedia /Marketing ( 2008) located in the AIU library, and Multimedia unit 1 cousre material ( 2003). These sources help me develop my definition of Marketing due to how they focused on satisfying the exchangees between Indivials and organazations as far as their promotion, pricing, product, and distribution. My definition of Marketing is the act of beneficial exchanges that help both individuals and companies/businesses reach their intended goal rather it be financial or other.

In this assignment we were instructed to select a product or service and research the company that manufactures this type of product or provides the service. Point Blank Armor is a company that manufactors Bullet proof vest. After researching this perticular company Point Blank Armor should be considered good Marketers due to their Mission, , Vision/Values, and positioning. Point blank Armor mission is to assist in saving the lives of people who devote their life to protect our freedom. This falls in the line of beneficial exchange for both the indiviaual and the manufactor. Point Blank Armor Vision/Values is being comitted to finding ways that enhance their performance in regrads to rapidily responding to the demands and needs of their customer.This falls into the lines of product which gos along with customer saftey and satisfaction.

Point Blank Armor has been labeled as the most dominant leader of body armor due to its dependable and reliable products which are distributed throughout the US. This falls under positioning and distrubution.
