Coursework Information:

Aim of the assignment: The aim of this coursework is for you to conduct in dept research on the significance of information technology and information system to business and to report your finding.

Leaning Outcomes:

This coursework covers the following unit Learning Outcomes:

1. Review the significance and information technology/system activities.

2. Articulate the relationship between business strategy and IT/IS strategy.

3. Evaluate the options concerning the position of IT/IS in the organization.

4. Utilize appropriate models to gain a better understanding of IT/IS in the organization and it future applications.

The word limit GUIDELINE is 3,000 words +/-10%. You should divide between the question using the % of the question mark as guide to how much is expected per section. e.g. 30% suggests that this answer should be about 900 words. However, this only a guide, as marks are allocated for good research, clarity of expression and pertinent facts. If you write 900 words of repetitive or irrelevant information you will not get good marks! reports of excessive length will be penalised.
