Stephenie Meyer is best known for her Romance novels the Twilight Series. Throughout out the story there are several places where important events or turning points in the story acquire. A majority of the story takes place in Forks Washington. The main characters consist of Isabelle Swan, the vampire lover, Edward Cullen the vampire who falls in love with a human and Jacob Black a child hood friend who Bella turns to for comfort for her broken heart. Other characters play significant parts in the story such as, Charlie Swan, Bella's Father and Carlisle, Esme, Emmit, and Alice Cullen also Rosalie and Jasper Hale all part of the vampire coven.

On Bella's 18th birthday a party is thrown at the Cullen mansion. As she opens her many presents she receives a paper cut, which then awakens Jasper's vampire in instincts and makes an attempt at her life. This then forces Edward to end his relationship with Bella and leave Forks in order to protect her. Because of this,Bella is left sad and distressed without him. The problem soon changes to Bella trying to end her pain by killing her self. Edward hears about Bella's attempts to kill herself and soon after the rumors Edward misunderstands one of Alice's Visions and thinks Bella had succeeded. So he finds the only possible solution for his pain, to kill himself by provoking another large coven of vampires.

Edward Cullen was born on June 20, 1901 but is doomed to live forever in an 17 year old body. Edward usually kept to himself, sometimes depressed ,and his family notices his brooding. However that all changes once he meets and falls in love with Bella. He then feel complete and as tho his life has meaning. Bella Swan is a 17 year old girl who falls in love with a vampire. She's described to be accident prone- and is teased throughout the book for being clumsy. Once her arrival to Forks many of the boys are attracted to her and try to persue her.

Throughout the book there are conflicts which cause the story...
